About Herstal Group of Companies

The Herstal Group of Companies (HGC), recognized as a prominent name in the security industry, comprises five strategically interlinked yet independently managed subsidiaries, specializing in comprehensive security services, including manpower provision, VIP protection, and professional training, with operations established across key regions in the Philippines since 2013.

At present, Herstal Group of Companies or Herstal as fondly referred to in the Security industry, is consist of five (5) interlinked but independently managed subsidiaries. It has the following business highlights:

1. Herstal Security Agency, Inc. (HSAI), the flagship Company, started operation upon the onset of the year 2008 in #19 Philip St., Multinational Subdivision, Sucat Parañaque City. After only five (5) years in operations, “saturation point” had immediately emerged as a real and imminent concern, because there is a limit of manpower a Security Agency can have in its roster—only up to 1,000 Security personnel.
2. Silver Herstal Security Agency, Inc. (SHSAI) was established in the year 2012 to cater to HGC’s clientele in Regions 6 & 7, more specifically Cebu City, with the entry of four (4) big clients: Taihieyo Cement Philippines Inc. (TCPI), the Solid Earth Development Corporation (SEDC), SM City Cebu, and SM City Consolacion.
3. Herstal Advanced Security Agency, Inc. (HASAI) came into existence in the year 2017 when Herstal’s operations intensified in the Southern Tagalog Region or Region IV-A (CALBARZON). The catalyst that augured the establishment of HASAI was the entry to Herstal’s roster of clients, several SM Malls, and the San Miguel Corporation Group in the region.
4. On the side, HSAI Protective and Detective Agency (HPDA) was established in the year 2015 to serve a lucrative “niche” market identified among the VIPs of Herstal clients who needed bodyguards as personal protection.
5. As a natural course of business in the labor-intensive service industry, where the rate of turnover is extremely high, the HGC Security Training Academy Inc. (HGC STAI) came into existence in the year 2018 to supply the essential training of Security Professionals and provide a dependable source of recruits.
